Events States - Other States Meet calls for customisation in marketing Our Bureau New Delhi, Nov. 13 To work upon the holistic development of students, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) organised the one-day national on ‘Emerging paradigms in marketing’. The event was held on November 7 at the institute’s campus in collaboration with the Oriental Bank of Commerce. Dr N.K. Kakkar, Director-General, MAIMS, raised issues such as different strategies that needed to adopt to market services and consumable products. In his welcome address, he questioned whether direct selling had the potential to make a great headway. Mr Dinesh Anand, CEO, UK Modi Group, talked about the need for customisation in today’s dynamic market scenario and cited new methods of communicating with the customer. Dr Nand Kishor Garg, Chairman, Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society, enlightened the audience on the verity that companies must understand their responsibility towards society.
