German brand to retail thru Shoppers Stop

Chennai, Nov. 4

Shoppers Stop has added a European brand to its exclusive international brand offering. German jeanswear and lifestyle brand Mustang will operate shopin- shops within Shoppers Stop, a press release said. Five Mustang shop-in-shops are planned to start operations within this financial year ending March 31, 2010. The first has already started operations in Hyderabad's Cyberabad (Inorbit Mall). Others are planned at New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Founded in 1932, Mustang is the first denim brand to be manufactured in Europe. Its revenues are over ?100 million, the press release said. Under the retail arrangement, Mustang merchandise will be imported from the parent company. Both men's and women's shirts/tees start at Rs 5
