Karnataka Bank unveils new products

Mangalore, Nov.1

Karnataka Bank Ltd has launched new savings account products with new features. A bank release said here on Saturday that these products are tailored to meet the needs of the various segments of society. The bank’s ‘KBL Kishore’ scheme is aimed at students in the age group of 12-18 years. It offers free-of-charge demand drafts for exam fee, prospectus fee and tuition fee, etc., and allows free fund transfer of up to Rs 50,000 a month from parent’s a ccount to the student’s account. The ‘KBL Tarun’ scheme with any branch banking facility is designed for students in the age group of 18-25 years. The ‘KBL Salary Privilege’ scheme is an exclusive SB account for salaried persons with convenience of any branch banking facility. The release said that ‘SB Money Platinum’ and ‘Current Account Money Platinum’ are the other two new products aimed at meeting the requirements of high net-worth customers.
