KSK Energy net dips marginally in Q2

Hyderabad, Oct.29 Higher cost of sales, fuel and personal expenses led to a marginal drop in net profit for KSK Energy Ventures Ltd at Rs 37.24 crore on revenues of Rs 106.99 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009.

The company had netted Rs 45.39 crore on sales income of Rs 98.88 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The company also hinted at a scheme of demerger. Accordingly, the Warora plant would continue in the Wardha Power Company Ltd Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) and the Chattisgarh power project will be undertaken under a newly incorporated SPV KSK Mahanadi Power Company Ltd.
