Asian Paints net at Rs 254 cr

Mumbai, Oct 22

Asian Paints’ net profit grew 108 per cent to Rs 254.32 crore for the quarter ended September 30, against Rs 121.71 crore for the year-ago period. Total income has increased to Rs 1,472.91 crore from Rs 1,186.09 crore, a growth of 24 per cent. It posted a consolidated net profit of and income of Rs 1,493.29 crore for the July-September period. The consolidated profit grew by 104 per cent to Rs 268.39 crore while the consolidated income grew 21 per cent to Rs 1811.36 for the July-September period against the same period last year. The board has approved the payment of interim dividend of Rs 8.50/equity share for the fiscal. —
