CII to partner SATTE for tourism fair

New Delhi, Oct. 15 The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) announced on Wednesday that it will partner tourism expo South Asian Travel and Tourism Expo (SATTE) to organise the ‘SATTE 2010,’ scheduled to be held between January 28 and 30, 2010 in New Delhi.

Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, Director-General, CII, stated in a press conference, “CII and SATTE have decided to join hands to create a new stimulus in the travel and tourism business by synergising their separate and mutual efforts, which will bring great incremental value for Indian tourism at large.”

He further added that this is the first time the CII is partnering with a private body in this sector for organising an event.

Mr Navin Berry, Chief Coordinator, SATTE said that this partnership with CII would add critical differentiators. This partnership between CII and SATTE would help in resolving number of issues impacting the growth of tourism sector in India.
