Prudent Advisory wins award

Ahmedabad, Oct.7

Gujarat-based Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Ltd has won an award for Best Performing Regional Financial Advisor (West) 2009 from CNBC TV 18. Prudent recently acquired a licence from the Bombay Stock Exchange to launch an online broking platform, said Mr Sanjay Shah, Managing Director. The company has 36 branches with most of them located in the Western zone but plans to expand to the South as well, he said. Gujarat provides for 60 per cent of the company's business with 19 branches of Prudent in the State, he added. The company had around Rs 2,000 crore worth of assets under management during 2009 and added nearly Rs 1,000 crore during recession. - Our Bureau
