‘Chamber Show’ in Coimbatore

Our Bureau

Coimbatore, Oct. 1

The ‘Chamber Show’, an annual event organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, (ICCIC) is scheduled between October 1 and 4 at the Sri Ramakrishna Kalyanamandapam here.

This is the 6th edition of the event, and considering the huge response to the show, ICCIC is contemplating to take it to the next level. The footfall during the previous event is estimated at over one lakh.

Briefing reporters, ICCIC President, Mr Mahendra Ramdas, said the Chamber initiated this event to promote the economic activity in the region. “We are now convinced of achieving this objective. Our sustained efforts at organising this event over the last five years and the spontaneous response from the principal and co-sponsors year-after-year, demonstrates our success. We are intent on creating a brand and taking it to the next level by making the Chamber Show – a mega event,” he said.

About 100 of the proposed 115 stalls are said to have been booked.

“Our objective is to bridge the gap between the association and the public. With this in mind, we have arranged events for all age groups including children, college students, women and so on.”
