CII state council meeting

Madurai, Oct 1

The District Collectors of Virudhunagar and Madurai, Ms Siji Thomas Vaidhyan and Mr N. Mathivanan respectively, explained the strength and opportunities for industrial development in their districts at the fifth State Council meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry, held here. Ms Vaidhyan said that the district had a good transport and communication network, a safe destination for investments and land was available at low costs. A multi-product special economic zo ne was being planned at Sattur, she said. —
