Institute for paramedical training

Hyderabad, Sept. 30

Innova Children’s Heart Hospital has opened a dedicated institute to train paramedical personnel. Dr D Prasad Rao, Director of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, inaugurated the Innova Institute of Allied Health Sciences at the hospital’s premises here on Wednesday. “The institute would train paramedical personnel to support cardiac diseases management,” Dr K S Murthy, Managing Director of Innova Children’s Hospital, said. “The re is a huge dearth of qualified paramedical staff to assist the cardiac disease management. The institute would address this problem,” he said. The institute would offer one-year courses in echo cardiography-cum-sonology and cardio pulmonary physiotherapy. —
