Public Sector Banks States - Andhra Pradesh
Our Bureau Hyderabad, Sept. 28 Oriental Bank of Commerce recently opened a new branch at East Marredpally, Secunderabad. Speaking on the occasion Mr J.M.A. David, General Manager, said the bank’s business was registering significant growth in Hyderabad. During 2008-09, the total business of the Hyderabad region grew by 20 per cent to reach Rs 6,100 crore compared with the year-ago period. Deposits grew by 17.48 per cent at Rs 3,145 crore, while advances increased 23 per cent at Rs 2,935 crore. The region has a network of 50 branches and 100 ATMs in the State.
