GE Oil & Gas' Country Leader

New Delhi, Sept. 25

GE Oil & Gas has appointed Mr Vivek Venkatachalam as Country Leader for India. In a statement issued here the company said, "In his new role, he will lead GE Oil & Gas' efforts to drive commercial growth in the region and expand GE's presence in the global turbo machinery market, a vital segment for the company's continued business success." GE Oil & Gas is into supplying turbo machinery equipment for oil and gas applications, including gas turbines and compressors. Along with his overall responsibilities, he will continue to manage the turbo machinery sales business in the country, the statement said. - Our Bureau
