Outlook Sony bets on Bravia Our Bureau Chennai, Sept. 24 Sony India says its LCD TVs under the brand Bravia and digital cameras under the brand Cyber-shot will continue to be key growth drivers for the company. LCD TVs contribute around 35 per cent of the company’s overall turnover of Rs 3,300 crore, followed by digital cameras, home theatre systems and Vaio range of notebooks. With around 20 per cent share of the roughly a million-unit LCD TV market, Sony is the third major player after market leader Samsung and LG. To promote Bravia during this festival season, Sony has launched a range with more features and also announced interest-free finance schemes. “We also give Rs 5,000 off on combined purchase of any Bravia LCD and home theatre system,” said Mr Sunil Nayyar, General Manager (Sales), Sony India.
