Vijaya Bank to focus on retail biz

Hyderabad, Sept. 23

Vijaya Bank will be focussing on the retail segment, according to Mr Arun Shetty, Regional Head. Speaking after the inauguration of its renovated branch and on-site ATM at Mehidipatnam here on Wednesday, Mr Shetty said the bank was equipped to cater to the banking needs of its customers. The bank has introduced technology-driven services such as V-net Banking, SMS alerts, mobile banking and electronic funds transfer, he added. Mr S. Thiagarajan, Director (Finance), NMDC Lt d, formally inaugurated the renovated branch and ATM, the 49th ATM in the State, according to a release.
