Our Bureau

Pune, Sept. 20 Santulan Ayurveda-The Ayurveda Store is set for an Indian launch with an outlet in Pune after the brand opened over 15 years ago in Germany.

Established by the Karla-based ayurvedic expert, Dr Balaji Tambe, the venture will offer ayurvedic products manufactured at Atmasantulan Village and consultation. Plans are also afoot to introduce ayurvedic therapy centres.

“The retail venture is a logical extension of Atmasantulan Village at Karla, among the first authentic and contemporary Ayurvedic healing centers in India. It is in sync with the growing demand from the domestic market for Santulan Ayurveda products,” Dr Tambe, Managing Director, Santulan Ayurveda Pvt Ltd, said.

Four such stores are operational in Munich, Frankfurt, Gleichen in Germany, while a fifth at Darmstadt is under construction. Santulan Ayurveda also has one store in Switzerland. In India, the company is planning to set up five stores in Maharashtra over the next year, and the Mumbai outlet at Malad is expected to become operational by December.
