Bags Max Healthcare order

Chennai, Sept. 18

Perot Systems Corporation, the US-based provider of IT and business process solutions for hospitals, has forayed into India with a 10-year agreement with Max Healthcare for providing IT outsourcing (ITO) and electronic health records (EHR) implementation. In the more than Rs 90 crore contract, Perot Systems will provide Max Healthcare with full infrastructure management capabilities, data hosting, infrastructure support, project management support, help desk support and th e implementation and clinical adoption of an electronic health records (EHR) system using VistA software, an open source software platform developed by the US Department of Veterans Affairs for healthcare facilities.
