Mumbai, Sept. 11 Tata Motors on Friday announced that it had revoked (withdrawn) one crore of its pledged shares of Tata Steel. Tata Motors still pledged 4.4 lakh shares of Tata Steel, it said in a notification to the stock exchanges. Tata Motors, in August, had announced that it had pledged its entire stake of 1.04 crore shares in Tata Steel. Shares of Tata Steel closed marginally down by 0.19 per cent at Rs.469 on the NSE on Friday. Tata Motors dropped 2.19 per cent to Rs 550.3. Tata Che micals in a block deal sold 8.1 lakh shares of Titan Industries on the BSE to Tata Sons. The selling price was Rs 1,233.4 a share aggregating to Rs 99.9 crore. With this transaction, Tata Sons’ stake in Titan Industries increases to 10.68 per cent from 8.87 per cent and Tata Chemicals’ decreases to 1.5 per cent from 3.35 per cent. – Our Bureau More Stories on : Announcements | Tata Steel Ltd | Steel
