Mumbai, Sept 10

Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro has bagged nuclear power plant equipment orders worth Rs 405 crore in the last one week. It has secured a repeat order from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India for design, manufacture and supply of four steam generators for 700 MWe pressurised heavy water reactors for the Rajasthan Atomic Power Plant. Mr M.V. Kotwal, Senior Executive Vice-President, Heavy Engineering, said it would be largest steam generators built in India so far, bigger than 540 MW supplied to Tarapur.
