Citifinancial restructuring

Mumbai, Sept. 9

Citifinancial, the NBFC arm of Citibank, will now lend to more stable asset segments and there are no plans to close down the NBFC, said Mr Abhijeet Sen, CFO, Citi. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a banking seminar, Mr Sen said that the NBFC has been restructured and it will return to profitability. “There is a comprehensive plan in place,” he said.
