Kochi, Sept. 7 The Rs 700-crore FMCG major CavinKare has rolled out its new dairy brand ‘Cavin’s Milk’ in Kerala.

Mr S. Kannan, General Manager – Dairy Division, CavinKare, said that the all-new Cavin’s Milk aims to reach the consumer within 24 hours from the processing facility, thus retaining the freshness of the milk.

Considering the growing milk consumption pattern in the State, he said the company has taken steps to sell one lakh litres of milk a day in the State.

The existing production is 10-12 lakh litres a day whereas the demand is 18 lakh litres, he said.

He added that the company was also considering a proposal to start a production facility in the State.
