Karnataka Bank cuts deposit rates

Mangalore, Aug. 30

Karnataka Bank has reduced the rate of interest on domestic term deposits by 25-50 basis points on various maturities. A bank release said here on Saturday that the new rates would come into effect from September 1. It said that senior citizens will get 0.50 per cent extra over the general rate across all maturity slabs for deposits up to and inclusive of Rs 1 crore.
