HEC bags Nuclear Society award

Kolkata, Aug. 26

Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) has bagged "industrial excellence" award from Indian Nuclear Society for significant contribution towards innovative technology in the field of nuclear science, according to a company release. The Ranchi-based public sector organisation has established technological processes for manufacture of nuclear-grade steel forgings. It has supplied heavy forgings to Bhaba Atomic Research Centre. Earlier recipients of the annual award included L&T, BHEL and Godrej & Boyce. HEC also bagged SCOPE award this year. - Our Bureau
