Core group meet on gas row inconclusive

New Delhi, Aug. 19 A meeting of the four-member core committee of ministers to monitor the Government’s stand on the gas dispute over Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL)-operated Krishna Godavari Basin D6 block remained inconclusive on Wednesday.

The committee is to meet again on Thursday.

The committee constituted by the Prime Minister is headed by the Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, and have Ministers for Petroleum, Law, and Power as members.

The Ministers termed the meeting as ‘informal’.
