Hinduja arm to partner Lodestone Management

Chennai, Aug. 19 Defiance Tech Private Ltd, the IT and engineering service providing arm of the Hinduja Group, has announced a partnership with Lodestone Management Consultants, AG, to offer high-value ERP (enterprise resource planning) services to customers across globe.

Dr V. Sumantran, the Chairman, Defiance Tech, said the partnership would bring together the synergistic strengths of Lodestone’s enterprise strategy and transformation expertise and Defiance Tech’s technology and global delivery capabilities. The alliance will combine the complementary industry footprints of the two organisations besides, fusing a larger and more diverse global talent pool.

Mr Subu D. Subramanian, the Chief Executive Officer, Defiance Tech, said globally the market size of ERP services is estimated at $ 40 billion and the alliance will address about 25 per cent of the market. Through consulting and intellectual property led ERP solutions, the two companies will help customers reduce costs and the cycle time up to 30 per cent on enterprise solutions. Besides, it would allow customers to focus on transformation initiatives for business agility. “This is possible since the two companies will offer solutions based on industry-specific templates,” he said.

Mr Juergen Bauer, Partner, Lodestone, said globally customers currently prefer standardised solutions offering greater value from their ERP investments.
