Alpari to expand broker network

Hyderabad, Aug. 12

Alpari India, part of the global online foreign exchange trading services provider, the Alpari Group, which forayed into the Indian forex trading market in June, has drawn up a pan-Indian expansion programme involving a network of 100 brokers by 2009- end. The company, which is betting big on India, is also targeting to have a chain of 100 institutional brokers and sub-brokers by the year-end. "Apart from extending our network through brokers, we plan to invest in educating Indian investors on currency trading through Alpari Academy," Mr Pramit Brahmbhatt, CEO, Alpari India, told newspersons here. - Our Bureau
