The new range will be available in four flavours — butter, chocolate, coconut and ajwain, said the company. Quality matters“This is our first attempt into the super premium cookies segment, which is at present dominated by international brands. “With our latest offering, we will fulfil the expectations of our customers by providing them high quality products at reasonable prices,” said Mr Shekhar Agarwal, Executive Director, Surya Food & Agro Ltd. Small affordable packsThe cookies will be sold as a 140-gm cylindrical pack and a 140-gm ATC pack at Rs 50 and Rs 25, respectively. The company also plans to introduce smaller packs in the market. “Affordability is a major market mantra and we believe that smaller packs would give us a better product variation in the existing range,” it said. Italiano cookies will also be available as a ready-to-eat product at Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) stalls across the country. Surya Food & Agro Ltd, which manufactures biscuits and juices, has three plants in Greater Noida, Lucknow, and Surat, with a combined capacity of 1,50,000 million tonnes per annum.
