Moser Baer’s project to cost Rs 86 cr

Moser Baer Photo Voltaic Ltd’s proposed 5 MW solar power project coming up at Jodhpur in Rajasthan — billed as among the largest grid-connected solar farm in India — entails a capital cost of Rs 86 crore, which translates into slightly over Rs 17 crore an MW.

According to the company’s tariff petition filed before the state regulator, the project would have a levelised tariff of Rs 18.96 per unit (kWh) over a 20-year period.
