Satyam case: Remand extended

Hyderabad, Aug 5 A designated CBI court on Wednesday extended the remand of the founder and ex-chairman of Satyam Computer Services, Mr Ramalinga Raju, his brother, Mr Rama Raju, and other accused in the Rs 7,136-crore Satyam fraud case till August 19.

The Rajus, their former chief financial officer, Mr V. Srinivas, along with others were produced before the XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in the morning by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

They were taken back to the Chenchalguda jail after the extension of remand.
