Unique Identification Number project

It is indeed welcome news that the Prime Minister himself will head the advisory panel for the Unique Identification Card Project.

This will ensure that the project gets the required impetus and support from all quarters and will ensure that the work on it proceeds without delays.

It is expected that this useful task will be completed on time, as per the indications given by the project’s Chairman, Mr Nandan Nilekani.
