Tulip Q1 profit rises 63%

New Delhi, Aug. 2 Tulip Telecom, enterprise data connectivity service provider, posted a net profit of Rs75.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 45.97 crore in the corresponding quarter for the previous fiscal, registering an increase of 63.25 per cent.

Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 442.92 crore, compared with Rs 332.47 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal, registering a growth of 33.22 per cent.

Bedi, Chairman and Managing Director, Tulip Telecom, said: “Our key focus area, enterprise data connectivity, continues to show robust prospects and enables us to achieve strong growth that has also translated into stronger earnings. We continue to see a big opportunity for Tulip moving forward and to remain focused on meeting the strategic needs of our customers and creating value for their businesses.”
