Banks pay dividend

New Delhi, Aug. 2

Bank of Baroda has paid Rs 176.40 crore to the Centre towards dividend for the financial year 2008-09. The dividend cheque was handed over to the Union Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, by the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr M.D. Mallya, here. Meanwhile, Dena Bank has paid a sum of Rs 17.62 crore to the Centre towards dividend for 2008-09. The dividend cheque was handed over by the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr D.L. Rawal.
