McNally Bharat Q1 net doubles

Kolkata, Aug. 1

McNally Bharat recorded net sales of Rs 269 crore in the first quarter to June 30 against Rs 131.80 crore during the comparative quarter last year. Net profit almost doubled to Rs 8.07 crore against 4.07 crore. The company in a note said that it expected to register a combined topline (including that of McNally Sayaji, a 93 per cent subsidiary) of Rs 1,800 crore in 2010. The company has taken up a plan to invest Rs 65 crore for acquiring construction equipments.
