Our Bureau Mumbai, July 31 JetLite’s domestic flights network will now be sold as individual flights, or in conjunction with another Jet Airways flight as a connecting product, said a statement from Jet Airways. Jet’s low-cost arm’s domestic flights, denoted by 9W (subject to Government approval) will be on display on the GDS (global distribution system) and the airline’s Web site jetairways.com. According to the statement, till now JetLite flights were only available in conjunction with Jet Airways operated flights, as code-share flights. “This is an initiative towards more network rationalisation and we expect an 8-10 per cent increase in the loads of JetLite with this initiative. Our Indian customers will benefit with this as they get access to a wider network of almost 400 flights a day, besides increasing our GDS presence,” Mr Raj Sivakumar, Vice-President, Revenue Management, Jet Airways, told Business Line.
