Natco Pharma profit up 5%

Hyderabad, July 30

Natco Pharma Ltd’s net profit increased five per cent at Rs 8 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2009 compared with Rs 7.68 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous financial year. The total revenue of the Hyderabad-based company increased 17 per cent at Rs 73 crore (Rs 62 crore). The earnings per share stood at Rs 2.87 (Rs 2.74), according to a release.
