Clariant Chem posts 17% rise in net

Mumbai: Clariant Chemicals’ net profit rose 17 per cent to Rs 31.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 against Rs 26.75 crore for the year-ago period. The net sales for the quarter went up to Rs 261.76 crore from Rs 245.37 crore. Clariant’s share price dropped 6 per cent to Rs 297.65 on the BSE on Wednesday. — Our Bureau
