CanBank SME Hub launched

Thiruvananthapuram, July 29

Canara Bank has launched `SME Hub (SME Sulabh)', the new business model for driving the growth of credit to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. The SME Hub is designed for centralised processing of MSME credit proposals for faster decision making and delivery of credit, according to a statement from the bank. Mr K.N. Acharya, General Manager, Canara Bank Circle office, said while opening the hub that the bank was committed to reaching out to large number of enterprises through dedicated marketing teams. The credit proposals mobilised through the marketing teams, branches as well as directly from the entrepreneurs would be centrally processed and sanctioned at the hub. - Our Bureau
