Sony sets Onam sales target

Consumer electronics maker Sony India is targeting 50 per cent growth in its turnover to touch Rs 75 crore during the Onam festival season this year.

The company is planning to sell about 20,000 LCDs and 10,000 digital cameras during the season, besides other products, company's Manager (Sales), Mr Sunil Nayyar, said.

The company has also unveiled the new Series T range, especially for the Onam festival. To woo customers, it was offering zero per cent finance, which includes zero processing fee and zero per cent interest on the purchase of Bravia model.

Sony has introduced the Bravia theatre package that offers up to Rs 5,000 off on the combined purchase of any Bravia LCD with a Bravia Home theatre system. - Our Bureau
