Bata India Q2 revenue up 8%

Kolkata, July 23

Bata India posted an 8 per cent revenue growth in the second quarter to June 30 at Rs 308.63 crore as against a revenue of Rs 285.78 crore in the same period last year. PBT grew 26 per cent at Rs 27.18 crore as against a PBT of Rs 2,158.1 lakh in the same period last year. The company opened 12 new retail stores and also renovated 25 existing stores during the quarter in locations such as Ahmednagar, Anand, Belgaum, Bhopal, Cochin, Jabalpur, Mohali, Mangalore, Varanasi and Vijayawada. - Our Bureau
