Ranbaxy gets Canada’s nod for BP drug

New Delhi, July 22 Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd announced that it has received final approval in Canada to manufacture and market Ran-Amlodipine Tablets, which is used as an antihypertensive-antianginal agent.

The approval has come from Health Canada, Therapeutic Products Directorate (TPD). Total generic market size of Amlodipine Besylate Tablets in Canada is $456 million.
