GVK emergency service in M.P.

Hyderabad, July 16

The 108 emergency response service, will now be available in Madhya Pradesh. It will be the tenth State in which the service is run by the GVK EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute). The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr Shivraj Singh Chauhan, launched the free services in Bhopal on Thursday. The Government of MP in partnership with GVK EMRI would operate it.

GVK EMRI had signed a memorandum of understanding with the MP Government on November 25, 2007.

The necessary infrastructure has been built.
