CII relief work in Aila-hit areas

Kolkata, July 9

CII has undertaken relief work at Aila-affected areas of West Bengal, according to a press release. In the first phase, it donated rice, dal, cooking oil and potatoes for the mass kitchen in Gosaba and Sandeshkhali, in the second phase at Mathurapur block 2 and in the third and fourth phases at Patharpratima, Hingalgunge and Dhamakhali blocks. The post-relief work, to be undertaken in consultation with the district administration, will include sinking of new high raised tube-wells with building platforms, the press release adds. - Our Bureau
