NGO's health insurance scheme
Mangalore, June 29
The Dakshina Kannada-based NGO - Shri Kshethra
Dharmasthala Rural Development Project
(SKDRDP) - has extended the facilities of `Sampoorna
Suraksha' (a comprehensive hospital insurance
programme) to the members of the scheme getting
admitted in Wenlock Government Hospital, Mangalore.
A press release by the Executive Director of SKDRDP, Dr
L.H. Manjunath, said the scheme has provided health
compensation against hospitalisation and other
emergencies to the extent of Rs 46.37 crore to 1,57,233
members in the last five years. Cashless in-patient
treatment, given in 110 identified network hospitals, are
compensated under the scheme, it added. - Our Bureau
