TCS sets up third centre in Mexico

Mumbai, June 18

The country’s largest software exporter Tata Consultancy Services has set up its third global delivery centre in Mexico. It will hire about 500 persons during the course of the year for the new centre in Quererato, the company said in a press statement, here on Thursday. The firm intends to provide advanced IT services, consultancy, test factory, business process outsourcing, contact centre, IT infrastructure solutions, industrial and engineering services through t his centre. Its other delivery centres in Mexico are located in Mexico City and Guadalajara, Jalisco. Apart from doing IT offshoring, the Mexico operations of TCS service about 30 customers based in that country.
