NGO HeartLink ties up with Innova

Hyderabad, June 16

C hildren’s HeartLink, a US-based non-governmental organisation, has tagged the Hyderabad-based Innova Children’s Heart Hospital to its network. The NGO offers a variety of services, including training of doctors in treating specific heart interventions. Innova is the third Indian hospital in the NGO’s network after Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (Kochi) and Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Medical Sciences (Bangalore). Ms Bistra Zheleva, International Programmes Manager at HeartLink, said here on Tuesday that the congenital heart disease was the most common birth defect globally. – Our Bureau
