EDS carbon emission service

Bangalore, June 5

EDS, an HP company, has launched its Carbon Emissions Management Service (CEMS) in the Indian market to help organisations calculate energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions related to their IT infrastructure. The services would help organisations save on energy costs and manage their IT infrastructure in line with local and international environmental regulatory frameworks, the company said in a statement. The CEMS framework is based on international greenhouse gas calculation rules and methodologies to enable organisations to capture realtime carbon emissions arising from each unit, it added. - Our Bureau
