Bangalore, May 21

Mediaid Inc, the marketing subsidiary of Opto Circuits India Ltd (OCI), leading manufacturer of medical diagnostics and interventional products, has received the approval of the Brazilian agency, Agencia Nacional de Vigilancia Sanitaria (equivalent of US Food and Drug Administration) for selling the Pulse Oximetry products (SPO2) such as patient monitors and sensors in that country. The products have already obtained the approval of the USFDA. The Brazilian approval not on ly helped the California-based Mediaid to market the products in the country but will help it sell the products in other countries in the region.
