Dumping duty on measuring tapes

New Delhi, May 19

The Finance Ministry has imposed definitive antidumping duty on steel and fibre glass measuring tapes imported from China. The Revenue Department has now specified the anti-dumping duty at $4.19 a kg for steel tapes. In the case of fibre glass measuring tapes, the duty has been pegged at $4.10 a kg. Measuring tapes are generally used by precision professionals. - Our Bureau
