Thiruvananthapuram, May 11

The six-day ‘Matsyamahotsav 2009’ exhibition organised by Kerala State Cooperative Federation for Fisheries Development Ltd (Matsyafed) in the city has drawn participation from several national and regional institutions. According to a Matsyafed press note, organisations participating in the exhibition include the Coast Guard, Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Central Institute of Fisheries Technology and State-level organisations such as the Agency for the Development of Aquaculture and Kerala Agricultural University. The exhibition, which is being organised as part of the silver jubilee celebrations of Matsyafed, began on Friday and will end on May 13. – Our Bureau
