Mumbai, May 10 Aries Agro Ltd, a specialty micronutrient company, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Multi Commodity Exchange to promote its products among farmers through Gramin Suvidha Kendra (GSK) - a joint initiative between India Post and MCX.

The network will provide Aries immediate access to 160 Branch Post Offices serving 768 villages in five states including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka, which are currently part of the GSK network.

The MoU was signed in Mumbai by Dr Jimmy Mirchandani, Chairman and Managing Director, Aries Agro, and Ms Sarita Bahl, Vice-President, Group Corporate Social Opportunities, MCX India.

Dr Rahul Mirchandani, Executive Director, Aries Agro, said, “Considering the unmatched reach of the postal network in remotest parts of rural India, the scale up potential for this GSK partnership between Aries Agro and the MCX is limitless.”
