Kakatiya Cements net down 7%

Hyderabad, April 27

Kakatiya Cement, Sugar & Industries Ltd's net profit decreased 7.6 per cent at Rs 7.03 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009 compared with Rs 7.61 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal. The revenues also decreased 21 per cent at Rs 42.23 crore (Rs 53.60 crore). For the full year, the net profit increased 36 per cent at Rs 23.31 crore (Rs 15.62 crore) supported by a 3.5 per cent increase in the total revenue at Rs 170 crore, among others. The earnings per share stood at Rs 26.91 (Rs 19.73), the company informed BSE. - Our Bureau
